After nearly every world Top-50 golfer took part in the WGC-Cadillac Championship last week, the field will be noticeably weaker at the Valspar Championship. Jordan Spieth, World No. 1 and defending champion, is one of just three Top-10 participants, making him the clear favorite, but at a whopping $12,800 on DraftKings, you’re going to have to pay up to get him in your DFS lineup. While last week’s Doral course favored the bombers, the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort will play to accuracy. Players who are precise off the tee, are good ball strikers and are adept at scrambling/putting will fare well here. The latter might just be most important, as four of the six golfers on the final leaderboard last year ranked inside the top five in strokes gained via putting.
